All that fuss over bread?

Hovis: Good inside advert

What has a slice of bread got to do with kids being outside riding their bikes? When I was watching this advert I felt like I was experiencing a child action movie, yet like all those films I was disappointed with the lack of an enigmatic ending. Ultimately I was faced with the epiphany that I should always eat bread outdoors, in case I get locked inside for the rest of my life. Thank you Hovis for that clarification. Despite the company aiming to make the bread the pinnacle point in their advertisement, their exciting and cinematic sequence led for the final reveal to be both disappointing and boring. Clearly they spared no expense on creating this advert, yet their attempts to make a memorable impact on an audience rather fell short.

On the whole I think that Hovis should just stick to what they do best- baking bread, not adverts.
